TOASTMASTERS DISTRICT 119

District 119 in New York encompasses a vibrant area that includes Manhattan below 34th Street, Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk counties. We proudly declare ourselves as the district that never sleeps! Our journey began on July 1, 2020, amidst the challenging backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic. During our initial two years, we embraced the values of Energy, Confidence, and Inspiration.

As we entered the third year of our young District, our clubs are evolving, with some adopting Hybrid meetings and others returning to in-person gatherings. In this new phase, we have embraced Intention, Engagement, and Progress as our guiding principles. For the Toastmasters year 2022-2023, District Trios were dedicated to fostering an environment marked by Integrity and Inclusivity.

As we continue into our fourth year, our District’s core values revolve around Growth, Unity, and Success. These values are not mere ideals but the pillars that define our Toastmasters community. We highly value the diverse backgrounds and unique perspectives of our members, creating an inclusive atmosphere where every voice is heard and appreciated.

Through mutual respect and understanding, we have built a safe space that nurtures personal and professional growth.
