TOASTMASTERS DISTRICT 119

The District Leadership Committee (DLC) is thrilled to announce the Call for Nominations for District 119 leaders for the year of 2025-2026 term!

The DLC plays a vital role in securing a bright future for our District by identifying and nominating the most qualified candidates for key leadership positions. Each year, District 119 elections are held at our Annual Business Meeting during the District Conference. The elected positions are as follows:

• District Director

• Program Quality Director

• Club Growth Director

• Five (5) Division Directors

Additional roles, including Area Directors, Administration Manager, Finance Manager and Public Relations Manager, are appointed by the District Director.

Think you or someone you know would make an outstanding leader for District 119? Follow these steps to participate in the nomination process:

1. Complete the Nominating Form for yourself or for a qualified candidate

2. Email the completed form to the DLC Chair, Melvin Garlick, DTM at melvin.garlick.tm@gmail.com. Nominations are open until 11:59 p.m. EST on Thursday, February 27.

3. Candidates will be notified upon receipt of their nomination and asked to submit a candidate biography form, photo, and the District Leader Agreement and Release form to the DLC Chair.

4. Prepare for candidate interviews, which will begin the first week of March.

5. Once nominated by the DLC, candidates may initiate their campaign in line with Protocol 9.0. guidelines.
